The sound on C003 is clean and punchy but ultimately was not the sound Brad was looking for. The recorded session was Michael Happoldt's introduction to the studio side of the band. Feeling that together the two could better articulate the sound Brad was trying to convey, the two wasted no time or materials and produced a few hundred tapes to pass around and immediately started work on the band's next release. | ||

C003 is Sublime's first release and Skunk's third. Recorded in 1989 at Mambo Recorders in Belmont Shores by Gary Greeth it was mixed by Steve McNeil.
