- Spring Break - Bradley Nowell gets introduced to Bud Gaugh through Eric Wilson. They jam all week long and write 5 songs. They had Ebin (Ebenz Change) & Date Rape already recorded with a drum machine.
- Roots of Creation (The Boring Song), Romeo, & New Realization were the new songs created and recorded. All put together on one demo tape for booking shows known as the Zapeda Tape
- Bradley Nowell decides to transfer from U.C. Santa Cruz to Cal. State University Long Beach to be closer to home for the bands sake.
