'''Counterpoint''' is a Bay Area punk band that much like Sublime, mixed many genres together. Beginning in 1994, Counterpoint stuck true to they're DIY ethics releasing two independent releases before breaking out of they're core fan base in the Bay Area and heading out on several tours and also having a song featured on the ''Jeremy McGrath's Superbike 2000'' game. Aside from performing with Sublime, Counterpoint has also shared the stage with: 311 and Tonic. In 2002 Counterpoint released they're 3rd independent release titled ''Black Socks and Docs''.&lt;br /&gt;
